Skee.TV breaks into the vault to bring you a new series, “Throwback Thursday.” This weeks episode features Kendrick Lamar. In this short clip from 2010, DJ Skee catches up with an optimistic, young and driven Kendrick Lamar during a late night studio session for his acclaimed mixtape Overly Dedicated. Having always been a creative and lyrically driven artist, the Compton native shares his focus with Skee on recording new material and his passion for rhyming. Lamar makes it clear to Skee.TV cameras that it’s all about the music before any business and industry politics. NBA star Kevin Durant and rapper Privaledge also make cameos.
