A Chat w/ Casey Veggies [Video]

Casey Veggies is the epitome of an artist that never stops working. The 19 year old Los Angeles native has been making music since the age of 14 and has only strived to become better and better since, and he has indeed. Since our first interview with him back in October 2010, Casey has graduated high school – he was missing class when we first met FYI – toured the US, featured in an HTC campaign, released a deluxe edition of his critically acclaimed project “Sleeping In Class,” signed on with Roc Nation for management, headlined his first sold out show in his LA stomping grounds, and the list goes on. We’re not only blown away by the moves Young Veggies has been making, but we’re proud. As one of the emcees at the forefront of this movement out of the west coast, Casey Veggies is poised to carry LA on his back. While in Miami, I sat down with Casey to talk about tour life and being the supporting act, performing at DC’s first annual trillectro festival, what branding means to him, what exactly is “Y.N.M.,” Young Jeezy tweeting lyrics from his track “Verified,” his plans for the rest of 2012, & more!
