Buckshot

Buckshot sat down with VladTV and kicked his knowledge on the ongoing debate of race in Hip-Hop. He was asked about Lord Jamar’s views that white people are “guests in the house of Hip-Hop” and how it is originally a Black art form; a contention to which Buckshot highly disagrees. He pointed out various ways in which ethnicity has been blended since the beginning of Hip-Hop, and went on to speak his mind on the constant debates and comparisons of race, and how at the end of the day we are all human and opperate based off of the same bodily functions. Do you agree with Buckshot’s opinions?

Buckshot details why he called Hot 97 program director Ebro Darden an “Uncle Tom” during an interview on the Combat Jack Show. He explains it’s because he believes Ebro is getting too caught up in pleasing the radio execs, adding that “New York radio is dead.” Buckshot also claims that he doesn’t think that people need radio anymore since the internet and smart phones have made it outdated. The Boot Camp Clik leader then shares his thoughts on the term “blackball,” claiming that there’s no such thing and it’s just a term for “people that failed and want an excuse.”
