Drake Shares 3 New Songs

Over the weekend, Drake surprised fans by releasing three new tracks including “Circadian Rhythm”, “SOD”, and “No Face” featuring Playboi Carti.

With the Kendrick Lamar feud dominating the summer, Drake seems ready to move forward and focus on his music. The timing of the newly released tracks is unclear, but fans might recall streamer Kai Cenat previewing “SOD,” originally called “Supersoak”, which featured a verse from Lil Yachty. However, Yachty’s verse was removed after an unsuccessful attempt to clear a sample from Mr. HotSpot. This has led to speculation about a possible rift between Drake and Yachty, especially after fans noticed Yachty no longer follows Drake.

Some believe “Circadian Rhythm” is Drake’s response to Lamar’s “6:16 in LA” diss, where he raps, “Often, I know this type of power is gon’ cost / But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star.” Meanwhile, “No Face” seems to address rappers who have stayed silent about the feud, with Drake saying, “I’m just so happy that n****s who envied and held that shit in got to finally show it / I’m over the moon, yeah, we’ll see you boys soon.” These tracks are also available on Drake’s new 100gigs.org website, following the release of a massive folder of unreleased music and behind-the-scenes footage.
