Chlöe Bailey’s sophomore album, “Trouble in Paradise”, marks a shift from her 2023 solo debut “In Pieces“, which explored the emotional turbulence of relationships.

This new project adopts a lighter, more playful tone, highlighting her evolving approach to love—whether falling for someone or grappling with uncertainty.

In Trouble in Paradise, Chlöe remains empowered, exploring themes of love, disillusionment, and forgiveness (“Redemption”), independence (“Temporarily Single”), and her sexual identity, all while maintaining her signature witty edge (“Rose,” “Nice Girls Finish Last”).

Musically, the album builds on the foundation of its predecessor with a more expansive sound, influenced by her time in Saint Lucia and collaborations with Anderson .Paak, Jeremih, and YG Marley, among others. With 16 tracks spanning pop (“Boy Bye,” “Strawberry Lemonade”), Afrobeats (“Never Let You Go”), and moody R&B (“FYS,” “Same Lingerie”), Chlöe continues to push genre boundaries.
