Common & Pete Rock – Fortunate [Audio]

As Common and Pete Rock gear up for the release of their album “The Auditorium, Vol. 1” this Friday (July 12), they have unveiled one last track, “Fortunate”.

Set against Pete Rock’s soothing beats, the Chicago rapper counts his blessings through his rich and prosperous lyrics. “Fortunate” follows the duo’s earlier releases “All Kind Of Ideas“, “Dreamin“, and “Wise Up“.

“The Auditorium, Vol. 1” will also include guest appearances by Bilal, Jennifer Hudson, Posdnuos, and PJ.

In anticipation of his upcoming collaborative album with Pete Rock, Common delivered a freestyle over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” instrumental.

On Tuesday (July 9), the rapper and producer visited Los Angeles radio station REAL 92.3 LA to promote their forthcoming album. During their visit, Common showcased his skills by rapping over the Mustard-produced beat.

Effortlessly finding his rhythm, Common launched into a stream of consciousness, reflecting on the passage of life and affirming his dominance over rival emcees.
