Marsha Ambrosius and Dr. Dre have finally unveiled their new album, “Casablanco”.
In December 2021, Dr. Dre shared a picture on Instagram featuring himself and an orchestra, announcing the completion of an album with Marsha Ambrosius. He described it as some of his best work and mentioned having a blast during the recording process.
Considering Dre’s reputation, the lengthy wait for the album’s release isn’t surprising. However, as of June 2024, “Casablanco”, Marsha Ambrosius’s fourth studio album, is finally here. Spanning 11 tracks, you can stream it in full on all major streaming platforms.
The press release reveals that the duo initially intended to create a jazz album, but it evolved into something much more. ““Dr. Dre dared me to dream bigger and aim higher,” says Marsha. “Casablanco” took on a life of its own once we grasped the concept. The ideas just kept coming, and everyone was on the same page at the same time.”
