He adds that it felt disrespectful to comment on something that he knew so little about, and felt that it was best to say nothing online. The “All I Do” rapper says that he thinks “Twitter activists” are commenting on trending news stories they see online without doing any action outside of their computer, and Logic says he doesn’t want to be that type of person.

The original video concept included featuring all the hottest New York rappers at the time, such as Nas, Biggie and Big L, and showing unity between coasts while also showing love to the mecca of Hip Hop culture, New York City. After the shooting, however, they chose to show their frustration by destroying the city’s buildings in the video. They also traveled to NYC the week after the video premiered to let people know they were serious and unafraid of anyone.
