Sisqo Talks “Last Dragon” & Working With Waka Flocka [Video]

Dru Hill frontman and “Thong Song” singer Sisqo sat down with VladTV to discuss his new album, Last Dragon. Essentially, it will close out his Dragon trilogy which began with “Unleash the Dragon” in 1999 and continued on with Return of the Dragon in 2001. Sisqo admits that it took a very long time to put this out, 13 years to be exact, but also says he wanted to put it out the right way, and over time developed two other full projects that were ultimately scrapped. The “Incomplete” singer also revealed the root of his love for dragons, saying the art director for his first Dru Hill shoot used one on their cover and he always liked it. He bought the symbol and incorporated it into the Dru Hill brand and the rest has been history.

Jaden Smith & Willow Smith – Melancholy [Stream]

Early last month, Yelawolf surprised fans by going in over Pink Floyd’s “Money”, a classic psychedelic rock single from the group’s classic LP “Dark Side Of The Moon”. Today, another, less expected, emcee attempts a similar feat. Taking on “Breathe”, another hit from from Floyd’s “Dark Side”, Jaden Smith does his best to remind listeners that he’s not just Big Willie’s son. Poking fun at his own career choices (“I bet you thought that you would body this/You’re messing up a classic, how you did with ‘The Karate Kid’”) and rich-kid lifestyle through the voice of an unnamed narrator, he may actually win some fans here.
