Smoke DZA: “Trinidad James Lit A Fire Under NYC’s Ass” [Video]

Smoke DZA sat down with VladTV to discuss Trinidad James’ statement that Atlanta runs New York Hip Hop, saying as an active MC in New York, he was definitely offended. He also acknowledged that Trinidad making that statement in Brooklyn put pressure on NYC artists to make better music. He went on to say that comments such as that and Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse were a gift and a curse for NYC, and that he’s the premier MC to check for right now.
