He began by discussing the backstory behind how they formed a union for the tour, and also the experience he gained from working so closely with Macklemore. Talib recalled the disconnect within Macklemore’s audience from his Pop fans to his Hip-Hop fanbase, and how Macklemore and Ryan Lewis worked to spread his Hip-Hop influence to the portion of the audience who came as Pop fans. He strongly cosigned Young Thug’s success and stated that he often has about four or five hot songs playing in the clubs, and he feels that “Young Thug is on fire” at this time. Infamous feels honored to be on the rise in this generation of artists and feels proud to be a part of the new influential Atlanta movement which is only growing stronger by the day. He credited artists such as Migos, Rich Homie Quan, and Young Thug, among others, as being instrumental in helping to raise the bar for Atlanta.
