Black Milk – Glitches In The Break [EP Stream]

In anticipation of the project’s release to digital retailers Tuesday, March 4, Motown veteran Black Milk is be offering his new Glitches in the Break EP for full streaming exclusively in The DJBooth. Coming on the heels of fall 2013’s No Poison No Paradise LP, the project packs a total of nine previously-unreleased jams from the artist’s vault. Included is reader-approved lead single “Cold Day.” Fellow Detroit representatives Fat Ray and Guilty Simpson makes guest appearances on Glitches in the Break, which is produced entirely by Black Milk himself. In addition to the aforementioned digital format, Glitches in the Break will be released in a 12″ vinyl edition on April 19, aka Record Store Day. Bridget Kelly Votes On Kendrick Lamar Vs. Macklemore [Video]

We caught up with R&B singer Bridget Kelly on the red carpet at the Revolt TV launch, and after detailing the new music she’s got in the works, Bridget weighed in on who deserves a Grammy for best rap album more: Kendrick Lamar or Macklemore. “Kendrick, hands down,” she immediately responded, before adding, “No shade to Macklemore — he’s incredibly talented, he speaks a very powerful message. But overall, Kendrick just embodies what hip hop was in the very beginning and really where it needs to go.”
