Philly-bred artist Gilbere Forte’ is no stranger to The DJBooth. Over the past three years, the innovative and genre-pushing Forte’ has seen 33 of his records featured on our homepage. Along with three mixtapes, two special features and a DJBooth Freestyle Series entry. I know, take a deep breathe. Fresh off signing a new label deal with EPIC Records, through his very own Anigma, Forte’ has unleashed his latest body of work, PRAY. Included on the 10-track album are previously-featured, Booth-approved selections “The Awakening,” “Nolita” and the title track. Longtime collaborator RAAK handles the bulk of the production on PRAY, while limited guest features include Active Child, De Carlo and Nylo.
