Lil Wayne Talks New Album Cover, Guest Appearances & Hot Boys Reunion [Video]

[Kanye] said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it. He had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful. At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.” “I have a lot of guests on the album. That’s what’s unusual about the album. I’m usually a two or three feature-type guy. But this album, I have a lot of features because I have a lot of friends, a lot of people that wanted to help out. I just appreciate them all. And I have a lot of different production on it too. I got Juicy J, David Banner, Soulja Boy – and that’s the production.” “Honestly I don’t listen to music. I watch skate videos all day. If I listen to something it’d probably be Anthrax, there’s a group called Anthrax – Keith Sweat, Anita Baker, something like that. Oh, you know what I have been listening to a lot lately? Too $hort.” Previously: Lil Wayne – I Am Not A Human Being II [Album Cover]

Drake – Started From The Bottom [Audio x Download]

Here is the first single off of Drake’s upcoming and yet to be titled new LP. Produced by Mike Zombie. Stream below. Download here. My good friends, It has truly been too long. I assume you’re all keeping well and making the most of this year that has been given to us. Today is the day to begin sharing my newest work with you. This is the first single off of my upcoming album. I feel sometimes that people don’t have enough information about my beginnings and therefore they make up a life story for me that isn’t consistent with actual events. My family and my second family (consisting of the best friends anybody could ever have) all struggled and worked extremely hard to make all this happen. I did not buy my way into this spot and it was the furthest thing from easy to achieve. I am proud of every part of my past and I’m excited for this song to find a place in your life as well. I didn’t feel I needed any interviews or radio or press to launch this song. It felt right to come back to the site that I started on and release it to the people that started here with me. Judging by this post, the tour that we’ve been planning, the conversations about new songs and album artwork…I think it’s safe to say we’re back together again. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. “You don’t have to ask me
