Read moreThis is a dope new Chicago hip hop project we’re proud to present as soulful emcee Rashid Hadee links up solely with producer Xtreme to provide an energetic, versatile EP called Hadee To The Xtreme (a natural title, no?). Hadee kicks it off with what I’d classify as his hardest-hitting track with “Penicillin”. It’s a fitting choice for track 01 as Hadee spits some clever references to beautiful Hollywood ladies along the way. Track 04, “Welcome To My World”, is my early favorite for overall track as Hadee is at his most lyrical on this motivating record. All 5 tracks contain a variety of production, with some of that classic soul instilled at times – definitely Hadee’s comfort zone. Plus, the production has a mainstream appeal to it to, which Hadee is also a natural fit over, providing some lyrics to the punch as well.
