Correy C feat. Cozz – Foreign Girl [Video]

Correy C is a 22 year old recording artist from South Central Los Angeles, California representing the Crenshaw District with his “”Squadron”” otherwise known as the District Boyz/Tha Committee. “”Foreign Girl,”” (Featuring Cozz Produced by Meez, Mike Almighty, & T-Lew) is the latest single from his upcoming project Salutations. The idea for the song came from a typical conversation amongst my partners about our common interests. The subject continued to resurface for days, eventually becoming a regular topic we discussed. Meez and Mike Almighty ended up collaborating on the beat a few days later, shout outs to T-Lew on the 808’s. I decided to use Meez’s laptop and recorded the idea on the beat with garage band as a reference track. At the time Cozz was mixing up his latest project “”Nothin Personal,””which fortunately granted us access to the studio for about a week. We ended up having a little time in between to get something else done so we laid the track down, shout outs to Enimal. We had a lot of fun putting this record together, teamwork made it all possible.

Chuck Inglish On The Cool Kids Getting Back Together [Video]

The internet exploded when Chuck and Mike tweeted that they were getting back together, or at least the corner of the internet that came up with The Cool Kids as their model of cool, but Chuck swears they didn’t intend to make such a big splash. They may have been trending on Twitter, but he insists publicity wasn’t on his mind at all, only music. “I didn’t care,” he said. “It was all about me.” As far as the reason they broke up in the first place, “We’re just two different people,” he said. “We both knew it wasn’t fun. It wasn’t fun for a while.” Although after hearing Chuck speak, “break up” may be the wrong word. Apparently the vision all along was to make their split more of a hiatus, give both guys some breathing room and wait until the time was right for a return, both personally and culturally.

The Smokers Club is proud to Co-sign new artist from cali Green R Fieldz. Fieldz teams up w Smokers Club founder Smoke DZA for their new joint “The One”. The visual, directed by Bro Jackson, is for a collaboration project between DZA & Green R Fieldz, who was also a fellow collaborator on the potlitical “Don’t Pass Trump the Blunt” project that also saw features from Joey Bada$$, A$AP Rocky, & Action Bronson. After releasing the new project, DZA headed out on the nationwide Smokers Club Tour with Cam’ron, The Underachievers, G Herbo, Nyck Caution, MobSquad Nard, & more. The new visual depicts what DZA and The Smokers Club do best – rolling up and having a good time. Expect more from DZA & Green R Fieldz in the near future.

Rhythm Roulette w/ The 45 King [Video]

The 45 King has been the mastermind behind several hip hop classics, old and new. His claim to fame started with “The 900 Number” which will forever stay funky fresh. Then with his Flavor Unit, he went on to produce several cuts on Queen Latifah’s debut album “All Hail The Queen.” After a few remixes here and there, his name was inescapable as he went on to produce Jay Z’s “Hard Knock Life” and Eminem’s “Stan.” Especially with a name like The 45 King, you know we had to take him to the shop to see his sampling chops firsthand.
