Lord Jamar: “50 Cent’s The Last Bully In The Industry” [Video]

Lord Jamar shares his thoughts on the 50 Cent/Slowbucks chain snatching incident at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, and while the Brand Nubian rapper says he doesn’t want anything to get out of hand, he finds the incident to be entertaining. He adds that Fif is “one of the last real bullies in the industry,” adding that it didn’t take but a few words before guys were swarming on Slowbucks. When asked about the G-Unit reunion, Lord Jamar thought it would’ve been cool if 50 Cent could have overcome his beef with Game and appeared on stage with the Cali rapper. He acknowledges that the original G-Unit didn’t include Game, but says when the West Coast rapper joined the crew, “they were at their pinnacle.” Jamar also believes that the crew’s new single, “Nah I’m Talkin’ Bout,” is lacking “real love” from the group.

Cassidy: “Meek Mill Beef Was Strictly Hip-Hop” [Video]

Philly spitter Cassidy sat down with VladTV and chopped it up about his “beef” with fellow Philly native Meek Mill, saying that while several fans and media tried to make it more than what it was, it was all about Hip-Hop and wanting to prove who was better lyrically. There were never any personal problems between the 2 MC’s and Cassidy still wishes Meek the best in his career. When asked about Meek having a problem with Cassidy bringing up Lil Snupe, the now deceased rapper and protege of Meek, Cassidy says the whole point is to get under your opponent’s skin, and that Meek said things he didn’t like either. It’s just the nature of a battle.
