Exile: 4TRK Mind Commercial #1 [Video]

Although many know Exile for his live MPC performances and his production with with Blu, Fashawn, Aloe Blacc, Pharoahe Monch, Mobb Deep, Big Sean and many others, Exile has been rapping for years. He rapped on early Emanon records with Aloe Blacc, on Blu’s Below The Heavens and on Fashawn’s Boy Meets World. 4TRK Mind was entirely recorded on a 4-track recorder and is his first album where he can showcase his personality and sense of humor. Warning, if you buy 4TRK MIND, the side effects may be dangerous. Pre-Order “4TRK Mind” now on iTunes.

DJ Mehdi – Loukoums [Mix]

Based on the DONUTS album concept, these are demos, out-takes and unreleased gems from various records I worked on before and during the making of LUCKY BOY, my next album. Stuff comes from MEGALOPOLIS, 113 DEGRES and SHEITAN soundtrack mainly, but some is older too. Hope you enjoy these rough mixes and un-polished sounds, as I pay hommage to “one of the greatest minds to ever make beats”: Mr James Yancey, better known as JAY DEE, also know as DILLA. R.I.P. DJ Rhude Presents: Nas – The Found Tapes [Mixtape]

Download: DJ Rhude Presents: Nas – The Found Tapes Nas probably has one of the more vast collections of unreleased material of any rap artist. A lot of those tracks have been floating around on the net for years but of poor quality or riddled with DJ drops. That is until I opened up my vault to give you, DJ Rhude Presents: Nas – The Found Tapes, a nice collection of those songs properly labeled and in the CDQ mastered form Nasir intended his fans to hear them in. Included is the studio mastered version of “Hope”, that was sent to me straight from the producer of the track. It is far better quality than the one that is on the internets. This one is for the fans, enjoy! Previously: Nas Shuts Down The Axe Lounge In The Hamptons [Video]

Fat Joe Reveals Details on The Darkside, Vol. 2 Mixtape & New Album

“We have the mixtape The Darkside, Vol. 2,” the 20-year vet revealed to XXLMag.com. “We gonna drop the mixtape no later than two-and-a-half-weeks. That’s coming out super hard though. Not ever regular hard. It’s gonna be the hardest mixtape out; nothing nice about it. The mixtape is too hard. Shit coming out like what a street anthem mixtape should sound like. This is my first mixtape. We’re gonna put it out as a mixtape and hit the people with that raw, street, Joe Krill.” Joe says those Mark Henry produced street gems—such as “Drop a Body on Em” and “Massacre on Madison”—that he released a few months back will definitely be included on the tape. “We gonna have them joints on the mixtapes then we gonna have some new shit,” he promised. “Crazy new shit! Then we working on the album too. We haven’t named it yet. The first single with Chris Brown is retarded. It’s called ‘Another Round,’ produced by Cool and Dre and Young Lad. We got joints [on the album] produced by Rico Love; it’s sounding great. With the album, we’re gonna make that music that everyone can relate too. It’s still gonna be hard, but it’s gonna be hit mania. You know exactly what it is. The joint with Chris Brown is a super joint. I got another joint I’m trying to get Maxwell on. You know, I’m talking to the ladies. I lost that weight, I gotta talk to them.” via XXL
