Naughty Nation is the collaboration between the duo who is working on new music to be released fall 2014. While filming for Couples Therapy in L.A and assembling new sounds for the project, Treach came together with Grammy Nominated producer Scoop DeVille, known for producing tracks for Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Eminem just to name a few, in Glenwood Studios in Burbank and the two came up with the idea to flip the well known “OPP” track to produce “Come On.” Treach, wanting to feature a new artist on the track thought it would be perfect to spotlight an emerging talent coming from NJ. Coincidentally, Scoop had just been working with Motown’s next female star, STORi, who happens to be from N.J. and suggested that she come into the studio. STORi arrived at the studio and the rest is history.

Read moreEven though Kendrck Lamar was snubbed at the 2014 Grammy Awards, fans can look forward to his next project being another culture-shifting body of music. During the red carpet at Music’s Biggest Night, VIBE spoke to good kid, m.A.A.d. city producers Scoop Deville, DJ Dahi and production duo THC about the early stages of the album. “We’re in the lab right now and we’re creating music,” Scoop Deville tells VIBE. “I’m working hard on making a sound for [Kendrick] that is definitely going to take him where he needs to be—musically, sonically—the people are going to feel it. That’s what we do it for—we’re not trying to make hit records.” Scoop also says that K. Dot has been recording demos to some of his beats and DJ Dahi, Alex Foley and Rockie also confirmed that they have started working on Kendrick’s next album.

He reveals that the project hones in on the classic sounds of both rappers as they spit 60+ bars on a track that will surely have the streets buzzing when it drops.
