In a culture that honors instant gratification and seeks out quick satisfaction, this song enters the scene with a strikingly refreshing spin on our longings for that “best life now,” presenting an answer that looks heavenward, fulfills our deepest yearnings, and lasts into eternity. This song is written with the hope of expanding beyond Promise’s usual artistic expression of hip-hop and exposing himself as not just a rapper, but also a songwriter.
