Kelly Rowland joined us at Sway in the Morning to talk about her first book, “Whoa Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened).” After giving birth to her 2-year-old son, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon, Rowland collaborated with her personal OB/GYN Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman and began writing a mother’s guide on what to expect post-pregnancy. “Whenever you have your baby, there was no information to tell you anything that happens mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and I was like, that needs to be done.” Rowland talks about the effects that pregnancy had on her body. She joked, “Snap back is not real for everybody.” She admits that it took her almost a year to get back to her pre-baby weight.
