Benjamin A.D returns with long time Toronto based counterpart Junia-T for his latest audio installment entitled “Waves On Roids”. The smooth, hazy laid back track gives you an insight into the rappers mind as well as creating a vibe that lures the listener in with ever changing effortless flows and melodic vocals. “This track was about putting the feeling out for everyone to catch. I wanted people to feel this in layers, even if they don’t catch every detail of the speech, I wanted them to feel the song in its entirety. I wanted to give them the monster wave, which is why the title was a perfect summary.” Benjamin A.D is a rapper/songwriter from South London who has been creating waves in the UK scene for a number of years. After a brief label stint he released his first mixtape ‘Chapter 0.5 (The Prologue) launched by Linkup TV and was deemed an underground success, his standout tracks being “I Just Wanna Know” which was heavily rotated on UK Music Channel AKA and “Tell Me What You See” featuring standout UK Rapper Joe Black. “Chapter 0.5” was also dubbed as BBC 1xtra’s Mixtape of the week and many of the tracks gained notable airplay as a result.
