DJ Clark Kent On Seeing Jay-Z’s Star Power After First Meeting [Video]

DJ Clark Kent spoke openly to VladTV about getting his start in the hip-hop world, as he admitted that his first turntable came after he looted a store during the infamous blackout of 1977 in NYC. It was after this time that Kent started building up his name around the city and establishing himself as a known DJ. He also began a career as a tour DJ for the likes of Dana Dane, Biggie, and Jay Z to name a few. It was the latter which he spoke about at length during this clip. Kent explained that he saw Jay Z’s star power after their first meeting , and he revealed that the Brooklyn rapper had the sharp with that Kent knew would help him succeed in the rap world. Clark Kent added that he believed in Jay Z so much that he featured him on every remix he put out.
