What if a painting was heard, not just seen? What if a composer described music as a painter describes their art? Classical composer for Armani, Victoria’s Secret & music production half of CharlieRED, Cobaine Ivory looks to synesthetically link some of his favourite paintings to sound with his project, “art II”. In this project, each instrumental is named and inspired by a work of art. “The cover art for “art II” is a photo I took while traveling in Kiev, Ukraine of a striking wall mural.
