Bruiser Wolf, Twista & Raphy – Barbiturates [Audio]

Bruiser Wolf and Twista trade nimble, joke-laced verses over Raphy’s rough-edged soul production on “Barbiturates.”

Twista’s quick, precise delivery makes him a natural foil for Bruiser Wolf’s elastic, off-kilter flow. On “Barbiturates,” the two find common ground in nimble, joke-laced wordplay, trading verses with the ease of a genuine back-and-forth.

Raphy sets them over a rough-edged soul flip, its muffled texture giving way to a beat with enough space for both MCs to work. The appeal is in the contrast: Twista’s crisp propulsion against Wolf’s looser phrasing, with neither one reduced to a cameo in a novelty pairing.
