G-Eazy & Ty Dolla $ign – JFK [Video]
G-Eazy and Ty Dolla $ign open a new chapter with “JFK,” a Nic Nac-produced single and video following G-Eazy’s new EZMNY/EMPIRE partnership.
G-Eazy’s new label arrangement immediately becomes part of the music on “JFK.” The single pairs him with Ty Dolla $ign only days after the announcement of G’s joint partnership with Ty’s EZMNY Records and EMPIRE, turning their collaboration into an early marker of his first chapter outside the major-label system in more than a decade.
Produced by Nic Nac, “JFK” keeps its 2:34 runtime centered on the contrast between the two artists. G-Eazy handles the rap passages while Ty Dolla $ign supplies the melodic chorus, giving the record a compact back-and-forth rather than stretching the pairing across a larger arrangement. The two had already introduced the song onstage when G joined Ty during his recent Madison Square Garden tour stop.
“JFK” follows “Pretty Girls” as the second single from G-Eazy’s forthcoming album. Arriving alongside an official video, it is also his first release since the EZMNY/EMPIRE partnership became public, tying the next album campaign directly to the independent setup behind it.
