Ransom – The Price Of Clarity [Album Stream]
Ransom hits us with The Price of Clarity, a 17-track album featuring Lloyd Banks, Freeway, Young Chris, Nick Grant, Tony Baker and Rob Lee.
Ransom opens up the format on The Price of Clarity. Following the DJ Premier-produced The Reinvention and his Conductor Williams collaboration The Uncomfortable Truth, the new album brings several producers into a 17-song sequence rather than building around a single beatmaker.
After debuting on Lutely ahead of its wide release, the standard edition is now available across DSPs. The Lutely version adds five bonus tracks, while the streaming edition ends with “Confessional Booth.”
Nick Grant joins “Sorry My Love,” Tony Baker appears on “Richer Prior Life,” and Rob Lee guests on “Swan Song.” Freeway and Young Chris share “The Coldest Winter,” while Lloyd Banks appears on “Circumvention.”
Ransom produced the title track himself. The credits also name Nicholas Craven, Mike & Keys, Rsonist, Leer Luciano, Mayor, Ty Jamz, Fruition, Khalif Rainey, Trevell Sanders, and Bernard Woodside, with Davis Strauss handling the mix and master.
We already covered the self-produced title track and the Bernard Woodside-produced “MK ULTRA” visualizer. Both now take their places inside the complete record.
