Preed One – Audio Archeology 1.5 [Album Stream]

California producer Preed One turns his record collection into source material on Audio Archeology 1.5, a 32-track instrumental album released via Bandcamp today.

Each composition begins with samples Preed One cut from vinyl himself, then reshaped into beat-driven pieces through chopping and rearranging. The album stays close to the everyday mechanics of digging and production, with the process itself at the center.

For Preed One, that routine is also a form of therapy: “These are the things I do every day—my daily therapy sessions.” Stream Audio Archeology 1.5 below.
