Dee-1 & Fredo Bang – I Apologize [Video]

Dee-1 and Fredo Bang revisit “I Apologize,” a KC Da Producer-produced track from Dee-1’s 2024 album LOADED, with a new official music video.

Dee-1 and Fredo Bang bring “I Apologize” to the screen, revisiting one of the more personal tracks from Dee-1’s 2024 album LOADED. Produced by KC Da Producer, the song is built around the uncomfortable work of naming the damage people carry and the people they have hurt.

Dee-1 sets the tone by addressing absent fathers, fractured families, and the consequences that keep showing up in the next generation. The apology in the title is not a soft reset; it is a recognition that pain does not disappear simply because someone has found the right words for it.

Fredo Bang keeps the record from turning into a clean inspirational speech. His presence gives the apology some weight, grounding the song in the kind of lived experience that does not allow the past to be rewritten as soon as regret enters the picture.

That tension is the song’s strength. Dee-1 approaches the title as an act of accountability, while Fredo Bang brings the harder edges of lived experience into the same conversation. Dee-1’s earlier “All Glory To God,” with Project Pat, showed how well his message-driven writing can sit beside a harder guest presence. “I Apologize” uses that contrast for a more reflective purpose, and the new official video brings the 2024 album cut back into focus.
