Open Mike Eagle & Kenny Segal – Out to Lunch [Video]

Open Mike Eagle and Kenny Segal unveil the steadyholiday-directed official video for “Out to Lunch,” the opening track from their new album DOOMED!.

“Out to Lunch” begins DOOMED! at the point where routine becomes evidence of a breakup. Open Mike Eagle replays shared shows and ordinary domestic memories, unable to live fully in the present while the relationship is already slipping into the past. He calls the song the album’s “pilot,” an apt description for its role in introducing the emotional wreckage to follow.

Director steadyholiday turns that opening chapter into the official video, with @omgdlb handling DP and color. On DOOMED!, released August 14 via Backwoodz Studioz, Kenny Segal produces and mixes all 15 tracks. Their first full-length collaboration treats the end of a five-year relationship as a darkly comic sequence of fights, flashbacks, and unfinished explanations.
