Tinashe – Melatonin [Video]

Watch Tinashe’s official “Melatonin” video, the third offering from her forthcoming eighth studio album, Popstar.

Tinashe turns the language of being “slept on” into a brush-off in “Melatonin.” The title plays on sleep as both sedative and failure to recognize her, giving the song a sharp edge beneath its hazy premise. The official video accompanies its arrival as the third preview from the project.

Popstar is due September 25 via Nice Life and Atlantic and will be Tinashe’s eighth studio album. “Too Easy” arrived in June, “Crash Out” followed in July, and “Melatonin” occupies the third slot in the album’s announced 16-song sequence.
