Sylvan LaCue – Tears Of A Stoic [Video]

Sylvan LaCue opens the next chapter of his story with “Tears of a Stoic,” the first single from his forthcoming Depths of a Man: A Memoir.

LaCue wrote the song in early 2025, following his first chemotherapy session. That context places “Tears of a Stoic” in starkly personal territory, confronting the vulnerability that can sit beneath a composed exterior. It also continues the emotional candor he brought to 2021’s Young Sylvan Ep. 3, albeit from a far more immediate place.
