CRIMEAPPLE – Top 85 Dead Or Alive [EP]

CRIMEAPPLE returns with a new six-song EP titled Top 85 Dead or Alive, released July 31 through Manteca Music.

The compact project draws its title and track names from basketball culture, moving through “Marv Albert,” “Jayson Williams,” “All Star Wknd,” “Foul Line Freestyle,” “Wristbands,” and “Trick Shot.”

Across just 17 minutes, CRIMEAPPLE keeps the focus on tightly written bars and sharply defined production. The EP moves between cinematic textures, lo-fi boom bap, and more atmospheric passages, with the Queens rapper using each track as another angle on competition, reputation, and the business of staying ahead.
