Wale feat. Elmiene – Overthink [Audio]

Wale teams with Elmiene on “Overthink,” a relationship-focused new single following last year’s everything is a lot..

“Overthink” is built around the uncertainty that creeps into a relationship when every pause, message, and change in tone starts to feel loaded.

The collaboration pairs Wale’s conversational writing with Elmiene’s vocals, allowing the same doubts to move between rap and R&B rather than resolving them neatly. “Overthink” follows Wale’s everything is a lot., which marked his Def Jam album debut last November.
