Kurupt & DJ Battlecat – Tales From My Hood [Album Stream]

Kurupt and DJ Battlecat bring their long-running partnership into full-album form with Tales From My Hood, released through Death Row Records.

Battlecat handles the production across all 11 tracks, while Kurupt is joined by a guest list that connects several generations of West Coast rap and R&B. Snoop Dogg appears on “Sneak Attacc” and “Me N The Boyz,” with RBX contributing to “Gunna.” D Smoke, BJ the Chicago Kid, Soopafly, JANE HANDCOCK, Blaqthoven, Butch Cassidy, Ill Camille and Akeem Ali are also featured across the album.

The project also gives “Mystic River” an official home nearly two decades after the track first surfaced during Tha Dogg Pound’s abandoned Westcoast Aftershocc campaign.
