Lancey Foux – ROCKSTAR RIDER [Video]

Lancey Foux shares the self-produced “ROCKSTAR RIDER” video and confirms an August 28 release for THE TIME OF OUR LIVES.

The London native has spent long enough keeping THE TIME OF OUR LIVES just out of reach. With “ROCKSTAR RIDER,” the album finally has a firm release date and a new record that wastes no time easing listeners into its world.

Foux darts between clipped boasts, drawn-out melodies, and sudden vocal jolts while the production keeps shifting beneath him. He built the entire beat himself, making “ROCKSTAR RIDER” his first official solo production credit. In a previous Mixmag interview, he explained that he usually leaves those credits to the younger producers around him unless he created everything on his own.

The video places Lancey in the back of a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce, but never settles into a conventional luxury-rap visual. Distorted close-ups, abrupt cuts, and flashes of the city turn the ride into something more restless and disorienting, with the back seat becoming its moving performance space.

THE TIME OF OUR LIVES is scheduled for August 28 and will feature 21 songs. Watch the “ROCKSTAR RIDER” video below.
