38 Spesh addresses Jim Jones, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, DJ Khaled and the industry politics behind their ongoing dispute in a new video.

Spesh is not backing away from the dispute surrounding “The Aroma.” In a newly posted Joe Budden TV clip, the Rochester rapper addresses Jim Jones, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, DJ Khaled, and the wider industry politics that have gathered around the argument.

Spesh repeatedly brings the discussion back to rapping. He dismisses Jones’ attempt to weigh in on lyrical ability, rejects money and industry reach as substitutes for bars, and contrasts his independent operation with the machinery surrounding more established major-label figures.

The tension began after Spesh criticized “The Aroma,” prompting Jadakiss to respond during his closing verse. Nino Man later entered the exchange with “Minks in Harlem,” while Spesh has since returned to the booth with “Fool’s Mate,” directing most of the record at Jones while also taking shots at Fat Joe and Jadakiss.
