Stik Figa & Heather Grey – New Year’s Conflict Resolution [Video]

Stik Figa and Heather Grey return to Cold Comfort with the official video for “New Years Conflict Resolution.”

Positioned at the center of the album, the track follows their earlier visual for “Red40” and turns the focus inward after that song’s sharper flexes.

Heather Grey builds the production from dry drums and a muted melodic loop, leaving Stik plenty of room to work through the contradictions in his self-portrait. Honesty carries a price, confidence sits beside uncertainty, and his desire to remain grounded repeatedly clashes with the pressures of recognition. The hook captures that tension particularly well, presenting him as ordinary and unusual at the same time.

Released in May, Cold Comfort pairs Stik’s measured writing with Heather Grey’s production across ten songs. Grey also mixed and mastered the album, while Asher Roth, Blu, Sleep Sinatra, Defcee, and Grvnola appear elsewhere on the project. “New Years Conflict Resolution” remains a solo showcase, with Stik examining ambition, identity, and the uncomfortable distance between success and satisfaction.
