PFG feat. J. Cole – Whole House [Video]
PFG and J. Cole reconnect on screen for “Whole House,” one of three collaborations from the Fayetteville rapper’s new album, Never Say Die.
Directed by Kiyanac and presented by The Sheltuh, the official video places the hometown partnership at the center of the record.
Cole’s sparse, piano-driven production leaves plenty of room for two sharply different perspectives. PFG delivers street-level detail with a rough, forceful cadence, while Cole moves from playful flexes into a more uneasy reflection on fame and the loss of anonymity. One rapper is still fighting for wider recognition; the other knows exactly what that recognition can take away.
“Whole House” is the longest song on Never Say Die, an album produced entirely by Cole. He also joins PFG on “Mighty Mouse” and “Twins Forever (Remix),” while the rest of the ten-song project leaves PFG alone over Cole’s production. Cole has called it the first full album he has produced for another artist, describing their creative chemistry as the starting point for more work together.
