Sango and Big Sean share the Jonathan Salmon-directed video for “BIG LITTLE LIES,” taken from Sango’s new double album RHYTHM & MELODY.

Sango gives one of the most reflective moments on RHYTHM & MELODY its visual treatment with “BIG LITTLE LIES,” his collaboration with Big Sean. Built around a manipulated fragment of Mary J. Blige’s “Not Gon’ Cry,” the production carries the emotional weight of classic R&B without losing the clipped percussion and precise low end that define Sango’s approach.

Big Sean responds with a measured performance centered on emotional baggage, broken trust and the damage that can remain long after a relationship ends. Rather than crowding the sample, Sango leaves enough space for Sean to move between observation and confession, making the track feel restrained even as its subject matter grows heavier.

Directed and written by Jonathan Salmon, the video stars Big Sean alongside Khadi Don and continues Sango’s episodic “Feel the Music” rollout. The two move through a strained relationship whose polished exterior gradually gives way to suspicion, resentment, and the smaller deceptions referenced in the title.

“BIG LITTLE LIES” appears as the fourth track on the first half of Sango’s new album, RHYTHM & MELODY. Released through Mass Appeal and Sango Recordings, the two-disc project divides 20 songs between its rhythm- and melody-focused sections, with additional appearances from Vic Mensa, Smino, GoldLink, Boldy James, Babyface Ray, Robb Bank$, and others.
