Some collaborations are built around chemistry. Antisocial Superheroes appears to be built around shared irritation. Craig G and Jake Palumbo introduce their new duo with “Brawndo,” clearing the room of unsolicited rap advice, fake industry access, and every conversation that should have ended ten minutes earlier. Palumbo’s loop-driven production gives both MCs ample space, while the scratched hook cuts through with a blunt command for the noise to stop.

Craig opens by turning social exhaustion into veteran punchlines, moving from an “Irish Goodbye” to people selling strategies for games they have never won. Palumbo follows with sharper shots at recoupment, automation, and the hollow networking that mistakes proximity for a career. Their shared closing verse widens the target to paid consultations, rented status symbols, and aspiring gatekeepers camped out in label lobbies.

The title pulls from Idiocracy and its electrolyte-loaded miracle drink, but the joke is more than surface decoration. Craig and Palumbo treat rap’s hustle economy like another overmarketed product, then fold references to The World Is Cooked and Euthanasia for the Stupid into their new partnership.

A full Antisocial Superheroes album is on the way. “Brawndo” works as an appropriately antisocial handshake: seasoned bars, irritated humor and no patience for the loudest person in the room.
