Chlöe & Timbaland – On Your Own [Video]
Chlöe and Timbaland extend the visual world of Resurrection with the Andrew Makadsi and Derek Milton-directed clip for “On Your Own.”
Chlöe turns “On Your Own” into a late-night study of desire, doubt, and emotional dependence. Taken from her collaborative Timbaland mixtape Resurrection, the song pairs her layered vocals with sparse percussion and elastic rhythms that echo the producer’s unmistakable approach to R&B without simply leaning on nostalgia. She questions whether either side can truly manage the distance, moving between suspicion and a reluctant admission that nobody wants to face everything alone.
Andrew Makadsi and Derek Milton direct the accompanying clip, placing Chlöe in a dim living room with a black leather couch and a retro brick phone. Timbaland remains off camera as she carries the scene through direct-to-camera glances, restless body language, and an intimate performance that feels caught somewhere between a call and a private confession.
Running considerably shorter than the complete track, the video offers a compact glimpse rather than a full narrative. It follows visuals for “Talking Dirty,” “Better Than She Can,” and “Priorities,” adding another piece to the understated visual campaign surrounding Resurrection. The 13-song project arrived on June 19.
