El Da Sensei gives the Illmind-produced “Hold On” from The Unusual a newly filmed official video as the album marks its 20th anniversary.

Two decades after The Unusual first arrived, El Da Sensei returns to “Hold On” with a brand new visual. Illmind produced the track, which appears third on the 2006 album and now receives fresh visuals during its 20th-anniversary revival through Fat Beats.

Illmind’s spacious production leaves El plenty of room to work, bringing his controlled cadence and veteran precision to the front. Rather than reshaping the song for 2026, the video stays rooted in the original recording and highlights how naturally its rugged East Coast sound has aged.

Fat Beats has also reissued The Unusual on forest-green double vinyl. The full 14-track record features O.C. and Sean Price, with additional production from Jake One, J. Rawls, K-Def, DJ Revolution, Saukrates, and others. Watch “Hold On” below.
