Rico Nasty is back in sugar-rush mode with “Cupcake,” a loud, sticky burst of attitude that pushes straight into the chaotic pocket where she has always sounded dangerous.

Rico is stacking releases fast. Only two days after “You Can’t Run From Me,” her industrial-edged track for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, she shifts back into album mode with “Cupcake,” the latest preview of her upcoming album RX, due July 24.

Produced by Kenny Beats, the single snaps straight into the chemistry that has always made their work feel volatile in the best way. The title may read sweet, but the record is all bite: blown-out energy, bratty flexes, and Rico turning every line into something loud, sticky and confrontational. It is playful without softening the attack, which is exactly the lane where she tends to sound most locked in.

The official video, directed by Miggy, matches that sugar-rush aggression with a bright, chaotic visual treatment that understands the joke without dulling the edge. After “You Can’t Run From Me” pushed her voice into a dystopian soundtrack space, “Cupcake” pulls the focus back to RX and gives the album rollout another hard jolt before its arrival later this month.
