Jay-Z finally expands 4:44 across DSPs with “Adnis,” “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family,” and “MaNyfaCedGod,” three bonus tracks that were previously exclusive to TIDAL.

Nine years after 4:44 first put Jay-Z in one of the most direct, stripped-down moments of his career, the album has been expanded on streaming with its long-missing bonus cuts.

The updated deluxe edition adds “Adnis,” “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” featuring Blue Ivy Carter, and “MaNyfaCedGod” featuring James Blake to the standard 10-track sequence. For years, those songs sat outside the version most listeners had on Spotify and Apple Music, tied to Tidal and the physical edition of the album rather than the wider DSP ecosystem.

That changes the shape of the record in a subtle but meaningful way. “Adnis” reaches back toward Jay-Z’s complicated relationship with his father, while “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” brings a lighter family moment into an album built around legacy, accountability, marriage, money, Black ownership, and repair. “MaNyfaCedGod,” with James Blake in the mix, stretches the emotional register even further, sliding naturally into the personal gravity that made 4:44 feel so different from the rest of Hov’s catalog in 2017.
