T.I. Performs “Top Back” & “Let ‘Em Know” At BET Awards ’26 [Video]

T.I. took the BET Awards ’26 stage straight back to Atlanta, opening his performance with “Top Back” before shifting into “Let ’Em Know,” the Pharrell-produced single from his new album KILL THE KING.

The pairing worked as a clean bridge between eras without leaning too hard on nostalgia. “Top Back” still carries that mid-2000s Southern rap weight—loud, polished, built for a stage—while “Let ’Em Know” pulls the moment into the current KILL THE KING run. Tip performed it with the kind of ease that comes from knowing exactly where the records sit in his catalog, and BET framed the set around that Atlanta confidence rather than turning it into a simple legacy lap.

King Harris also appeared during the “Let ’Em Know” portion, adding a family angle to a performance that already played like a reminder of T.I.’s place in Southern rap history. With KILL THE KING out now, the BET Awards spot gave the album another high-profile push while letting Tip revisit the sound and posture that made him a defining Atlanta figure in the first place.
