Hit-Boy – Love Story [Video]

Hit-Boy shares the video for “Love Story,” a self-produced track from his direct-to-fan album HITstory 2: Success Is A Dirty Word.

With “Love Story,” Hit-Boy pulls one of the more reflective cuts from HITstory 2: Success Is A Dirty Word into focus. The track sits deep in the album’s second half, where the flexes start to feel more complicated and the production leaves enough room for him to talk through success, distance, and the emotional cost of always being in motion.

Written, produced, and performed by Hit-Boy, “Love Story” works less like a soft detour than a colder relationship record. He frames love through expectation and image, circling the gap between what people say they want and what they actually chase once money, attention, and access enter the room. It is still cleanly built and self-contained, but the edge comes from how little romance he allows into the idea.

HITstory 2: Success Is A Dirty Word arrived as a direct-to-fan release through Hit-Boy’s own site, adding another layer to a project already shaped around independence, legacy, and control. The new video gives “Love Story” its spotlight while the album continues to live outside the usual streaming-service routine.
