Onyx are back in full bark mode on “It All Started in Brooklyn,” a hard-nosed new cut produced by Quab Lab that taps straight into the group’s grimy New York foundation.

Fredro Starr and Sticky Fingaz have never needed much polish to make their presence felt, and this one leans into that legacy without sounding like a museum piece. Quab Lab gives them a rugged, pressure-heavy backdrop, while Onyx use the title as a declaration of origin, attitude, and survival.
