Wiki – Ancient History [Album Stream]

Wiki returns with Ancient History, a 14-track album featuring duendita, Your Old Droog, and Salimata, with production from The Alchemist, Navy Blue, Nick Hakim, Dom Maker, dj blackpower, and more.

Wiki’s voice has always carried New York like muscle memory, but Ancient History finds him treating the city less like a backdrop than a pressure system. Across 14 tracks, he moves through old corners, passing thoughts, half-settled memories, and the kind of street-level detail that has made his writing feel lived-in since the Ratking days. The title suggests distance, but the record is not dusty or sealed off—it sounds like history still happening in real time.

The album marks Wiki’s first fully solo full-length in seven years, following a stretch of collaborative projects and producer-led pairings. That context matters because Ancient History does not flatten him into one lane. The production credits pull from a wide field—The Alchemist, Navy Blue, Nick Hakim, Dom Maker, dj blackpower, Laron, Zoomo, and others—while the guest list stays selective, with duendita, Your Old Droog, and Salimata appearing across the tracklist.

“Park,” “Right Away,” and “IHNY” already gave the rollout different angles before the album arrived, and they still sit naturally inside the full record. “Park” in particular taps into the open-air rhythm of the project, with Wiki writing from a place where public spaces, private memories, and neighborhood movement bleed into each other. Nothing here feels overly polished for distance; the edges are part of the language.
