He opens Kodak The Blessing like someone unloading every thought before the room can interrupt him. The Florida rapper’s new album runs 26 tracks, and that sprawl feels intentional: half street sermon, half loose diary, with Kodak moving between prayer, paranoia, flexes, grief, and the kind of crooked melody that has always made his voice feel instantly recognizable.

After Just Getting Started, this release pushes him back into a heavier, more crowded frame. “Blessing” sets the tone, while records like “Move” with G Thugg, “Thunder Baby” with Shadea Charai, “Nunchucks” with 1900Rugrat, and “Better Or Worse” with Fridayy widen the album without turning it into a guest-heavy parade. Kodak still carries most of the weight himself, especially on tracks like “Loitering,” “Idols Turn To Rivals,” “Yak Gone Do It,” “Lemon Squeeze,” and “Love Letters.”

There is a lot here, but Kodak The Blessing works best when the messiness starts to feel like part of the point. Kodak can sound wounded, defiant, funny, reckless, devotional, and completely locked in within the same stretch, and the album leans into that volatility instead of smoothing it out. By the time “American Dream” brings in Rylo Rodriguez and Lil Crix for the closer, the title feels less like a clean victory lap than another piece of Kodak’s ongoing survival language.
